Sneha walks out of Rajinikanth’s film

We had reported earlier that Sneha is going to play Rajinikanth’s sister in the latter’s upcoming 3D film Kochaadaiyaan to be directed by Soundarya R Ashwin. The latest news in Kollywood is that Sneha has walked out of the film citing date issues. Since the principal shooting of the film hadn’t begun, Soundarya R Ashwin and Sneha parted ways amicably. Rukmini, who was last seen in a film titled Ananda Tandavam, has been signed up for the role. The film is already making waves for its cast which also includes Deepika Padukone, Aadhi, and Jackie Shroff. A R Rahman is composing the music and K S Ravikumar has written the story.

Illiana, Deepika in trouble

Heroines Deepika Padukone and Ileana are sailing in troubled waters.

While Deepika walked out of Race -2 citing that she cannot accommodate dates Illiana is accused of not returning the advance after she turned down the offer for a Tamil movie. Producer Mohan Natarajan has filed a complaint against Illiana alleging that she did not return him the advance. He paid her Rs 40 lakh in advance and he when he approached her for dates, she said that she didn't have any. Later, Mohan signed another actress for the film and for the past few months, he had been asked Ileana to return the advance. When she didn't oblige to his request despite several attempts, Mohan Natarajan approached the producers' council to take appropriate action.

Deepika on the other hand had also acted in a couple of scenes. But when the dates were re-scheduled, the tall actress expressed her inability to adjust as she has a crowded order book. Producers say that she walked out and is not taking calls.

Who calls the shots in film industry is an open secret. One should whether you are a big fish or small one.

Eega gets a bumper offer in Karnataka

With less than two months to go for its big release, an interesting situation is brewing for S S Rajamouli’s Eega in Karnataka. The film has Nani and Samantha in lead roles and Sudeep is playing the villain’s role. Sources say that there was an offer of around Rs 2.5 crores for the film for the entire Karnataka region, but then the producers of Eega are expecting a lot more than that. This is because of Sudeep’s popularity in Karnataka. While Eega is not being dubbed in Kannada, if all goes well, the film might as well rake in offers and profits like a direct Kannada film. S S Rajamouli is directing the film and he has also written the story. The film narrates the story of a guy who reincarnates as a fly to avenge his death in previous life. Ram 'Endukante Premanta' almost complete

After doing back to back action stories Young hero Ram is trying his luck with a lover boy role in 'Endukante Premanta'. Yevadu to be shot in Brazil

Ramcharan is now busy wrapping up work for Rachcha. He will get ready to commence shooting for his new film Dil Raju’s Yevadu in the direction of Vamsi Paidipally. The film is a new kind if action entertainer with some big twists and turns.
